Eating mindfully can be difficult when navigating busy schedules, often leading to less healthy choices. To support healthier habits, HDAE launched the Power Your Plate Challenge on February 2. This 31-day journey focused on building more mindful and sustainable eating practices.

The thirty one participants received weekly emails that covered topics such as mindful eating, fueling for energy, recognizing hunger and fullness cues, and reflecting on long-term habits. Staff was encouraged to follow a monthly calendar and complete the daily prompts to guide their progress.

The challenge emphasized self-awareness, curiosity, and small, realistic changes rather than strict rules. This approach helped participants better understand how food affects their energy, mood, and overall well-being.
