Isaias Guerrero's Daughter Earns a Ph.D.
Thanks to the effort of her parents and her dedication, Ana Guerrero achieved one of her dreams and obtained her doctorate at UC Santa Barbara. Across her social media networks, Ana shared her inspiring story as a way to make sure her parents got recognition for all of the support they have given her.

In honor of the former UCSB Dean of Student Residents, Margaret T. Getman, the annual Getman award recognizes university staff and faculty that have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the general growth and development of students and the quality of student life.
