The Mural Takes a Road Trip to Northern California
As the San Joaquin Villages Apartment project was in the final stages the HDAE Marketing Team (MarCom) was asked to provide wall graphics for three recreation rooms and three study rooms. COVID-19 Update: Fall Planning
We are continuing to prepare for a return to in-person operations. One process that will look very different this year is our annual fall move-in. HDAE staff members have been evaluating how to safely start the fall quarter with guidance from local and state health officials, and campus leadership. Move-in will be a touchless and self-service process that will be staggered over seven days in order to maintain physical distancing and decrease congestion.

Connecting with Students Online
UCSB’s faculty in residence, or FiR, weren’t going to let the pandemic prevent them from meeting with students.
Staying Active in Isolation

Gyms are no longer operating and working out with an exercise buddy is not as feasible while practicing social distancing. However, thanks to Billy Jankowski’s MovementMAYnia, UCSB staff and students had the chance to participate and track their physical activity throughout the month of May.
